My name is Susannah Rickman. I am a Woman, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Body- & Birth Worker, Feminist & Creatress. My passion for Women's Health and Women's Rights is my fuel and inspiration. 

LivModer is my Creative Child. She was born from my desire to integrate my work and life in a meaningful way - to be inspired and challenged; to grow and transform alongside the women whom I have the honour to serve. 

It is my heartfelt wish that you will find something of value to you here. Some words about me


I grew up in Stockholm, but have lived in London for over a decade. I spent almost two years travelling, before I became pregnant in 2014 and decided to move back to Sweden. I love being immersed in nature, or in the company of friends and loved ones. Outside of running the LivModer Clinic, I teach Embodied/Practical Anatomy at Stockholm University of the Arts. I am also the co-creator of the doula training Doula med kropp och själ. Some of my previous work includes teaching creative dance to children, choreographing and performing (contemporary dance) and leading exercise/movement classes in nursing homes around north London. One of my most memorable life-work experiences has been running a volunteer osteopathy clinic in a Nepalese mountain village in the Himalayas. I have spent most part of the last 5 winters in my second home in Brazil.
